Is This the End?
03:24
|

"Is This the End?" - lyrics by Eldon McGraw. BMI.
The guns are ablaze
Setting the city on fire
A mother stares at a grave
While a crack dealer smiles
Violence is justified
When there's no end in sight
Morality is not the issue
When there is no wrong from right
How can a nation be for real
When its disintegrated with no appeal
Is this the end? Please tell me now
Is this the end? Please tell me how
The pressure continues from all around
From the Pentagon to the president
In the cities and the towns
Is caring and sharing a thing of the past?
Have we worked so hard for something that will last?
How can a nation be for real
When its disintegrated with no appeal
Is this the end? Please tell me now
Is this the end? Please tell me how
Hasn't the past
Unlocked the future
Who's got the power to be able to see
Why's the door still closed
Closed to the future
Who's goin' find that opening key
How can a nation be for real
When its disintegrated with no appeal
Is this the end? Please tell me now
Is this the end? Please tell me how

She Likes to Rock
04:02
|

"She Likes to Rock" lyrics by Eldon McGraw. BMI.
She's got a drink in her hand and she's ready to go
She's gonna rev herself up for one more show
Goin as fast as she can with nowhere to turn
She's goin outta control with a body to burn
She likes to rock
All night long
She likes to rock
Until she can't come down
She likes to rock
All night long
She likes to rock
Until she can't come down
She likes to rock
She likes to rock
With just a little bit of passion and a lot of play
She like's to party in the night and party in the day
She takes what she can in the good things in life
She never gets her fill of each and every night
She likes to rock
All night long
She likes to rock
Until she can't come down
She likes to rock
All night long
She likes to rock
Until she can't come down
She likes to rock
She likes to rock
Sounds and lights are flashin all over the place
Her heartbeats goin faster, faster than a race
She's gettin higher and higher off the music in the air
Gettin as high as she can with no other cares
She likes to rock
All night long
She likes to rock
Until she can't come down
She likes to rock
All night long
She likes to rock
Until she can't come down
She likes to rock
She likes to rock

Say Something
04:53
|
|||
Lyrics by Eldon McGraw. BMI.
Oh yeah, I just gotta say something
Whoa yeah, I just gotta say something
Just gotta say it today ok
Well it just goes to show
It aint what you know oh no
And it just seems today
They gotta be paid to play hey hey
Well I'm seeing it more and more
It's something I can't ignore
The feeling don't feel right
And that's why I'm gonna fight it tonight
Yeah alright
I just gotta say something
I just gotta say something
I just gotta say something
I just gotta say something
The times gotta change
Why it's gotta change this way hey hey
They're selling out their souls
To play one more show oh no
Well it wasn't so long ago
The music was the show
And I hope it will come back
Like it was in the past yeah yeah
I just gotta say something
I just gotta say something
I just gotta say something
I just gotta say something
Well maybe it's just me
That wants to be free yeah yeah
But the price you gotta pay
Gets higher everyday hey hey
And I'm seeing it more and more
It's something I can't ignore
The feeling don't feel right
And that's why I'm gonna fight it tonight
Yeah alright
I just gotta say something
I just gotta say something
I just gotta say something
I just gotta say something

Sky Girl

"Sky Girl" lyrics by Mike Anderson. BMI.
She was just a little girl
Her parent's little pet
She had some dreams and seen some thing
That most people forget
The illusions that were real
They never left her eyes
She never learned not to believe
Or take a mortal guise
A man, he looked down right on her
She gazed up right back
He had tried to take from her
What he himself did lack
He said, "I'm gonna break your spirit"
She said, "You talk too much"
"How the hell can you break
what you can't even touch"
Just watch me spread my wings
And make love to the sky
While you stumble round on the ground
And very slowly die

Come Over
03:20
|
|||
Lyrics by Mike Anderson. BMI.
I was shot out of bed this morning
Someone's at my door
Scratching, screeching, bawling, calling
I can't take any more - no, no, no
Don't come over today
Please come over tonight
Say what you gotta say
You just know you're gonna be right, right, right, yeah
Wringing hands and clenching fists
Like there's something in the air
Freedom here, evil there
I don't know if I really care
Don't come over today
Please come over tonight
Say what you gotta say
You just know you're gonna be right, right, right, yeah
Now your life's a thin straight line
Honey, I got news for you
What you know, you think you know
Ain't necessarily true
Don't come over today
Please come over tonight
Say what you gotta say
You just know you're gonna be right, right, right, yeah
