“Aliens and Beer” Written by Mike Anderson, Jeff Behrendt, Randy Matthews, and Eldon McGraw. Lyrics by Mike Anderson and Jeff Behrendt. Music by Mike Anderson, Randy Matthews, and Eldon McGraw. Did you know aliens were here? They came down on a night so clear Saucer opened, a beam came down Alien feet walking around My fear rose – it shook my core Then I saw them walk to the pub next door The people dropped their drinks and stared The aliens, they didn’t care They said “We’ve traveled many light years We’re thirsty, we want beer!” Sat down, they ordered a round Then with their three arms they began to pound They looked so scary at first But they just came down to quench a thirst They were happy to drink and get along Then some redneck came on strong They were getting picked on by Big Jim Til their shrink rays took care of him The bar don’t take galactic cash When the check came, they had to dash They were drunk, blotto, and stoned When they try to fly their saucer home The sauce rose, the saucer fell Then it crashed somewhere near Roswell

“Under the Dome” Written by Jeff Behrendt and Eldon McGraw Lyrics by Jeff Behrendt. Music by Eldon McGraw. That guy's an ass But most of these fuckers are Time to take out the trash Cause it never goes too far Circle the bowl Cause shit just stirs around Protect my soul Bury it in the ground Under the Dome This place is not my home Under the dome It will never be my home Big swinging sacks Left at the front door Come and show me your pass Cause everyone here's a whore Speak loudest last Word in the right ear Blood in the stool Dripping from the rear Under the dome Light peaks through the cracks Under the dome Better watch your backs Elected ass Slacken up their thirst Raise up the tax Fill their own plates first Kept under wraps Your rights is need to know Don't turn your backs On the win, place, or show Under the Dome This place is not my home Under the dome It will never be my home Under the dome Light peaks through the cracks Under the dome You better watch your backs So do we have a deal? I think we could so some business Senator

The Note 04:10
“The Note” Written by Randy Matthews and Eldon McGraw. Lyrics by Randy Matthews. Music by Randy Matthews and Eldon McGraw. Wanted to say, now that I've gone Some things to you, waited too long Life's been lovely, worth it to me Life's been lovely, and now I’m free But more than this, I'll miss your kiss More than this, I'll miss your kiss More than this, I'll miss your kiss Because of this, I've lived in bliss You've been for me, reason to live Precious moments, all that you give It's been worth it, the times we’ve had Reason for leaving, not cause it's bad But more than this, I'll miss your kiss More than this, I'll miss your kiss More than this, I'll miss your kiss Because of this, I've lived in bliss Only this body is gonna be gone Only this body is gonna be gone But more than this, I'll miss your kiss More than this, I'll miss your kiss More than this, I'll miss your kiss Because of this, I've lived in bliss Now that I am, always with you Our souls were met, I’ve only a few The rest can wait, to hear you come Be like the morn, not setting sun Lifes been lovely, trade none of it in Lifes been lovely, it’s been a win Lifes been lovely, and now it ends Lifes been lovely, let’s do it again But more than this, I'll miss your kiss More than this, I'll miss your kiss More than this, I'll miss your kiss Because of this, I've lived in bliss More than this, I’ll miss your kiss More than this, I’ll miss your kiss

“Anger is Emotion” Written by Mike Anderson and Eldon McGraw. Lyrics by Mike Anderson and Eldon McGraw. Music by Eldon McGraw Anger is emotion Anger is emotion Who gave you the right to speak for me? Who gave you the right to take my liberty? Who gave you the right to go out and make war? Who gave you the right to kill and maim the poor? Anger is emotion Anger is emotion You bring out tanks and guns to make your point known Then you sit back to watch them die and moan No price is too high when it’s pain and blood and tears Rage is your payoff with no way to steer Anger is emotion Anger is emotion You try to hide your crimes, in the name of security When will we stop this madness, this insanity? You live a sickened lie, you put their heads into a vice One day soon your game will end and then you’ll pay the price Anger is emotion Anger is emotion Anger is emotion Anger is emotion You know this ain’t the first time we’ve seen this kind of act You’ve done what you’ve done, now it’s time to face the facts You’ve had your reign of terror, but it’s over now Their blood has stopped flowing and they will not bow Anger is emotion Anger is emotion

Witch Puzzle 04:47
“Witch Puzzle” Written by Jeff Behrendt. Lyrics and music by Jeff Behrendt. Black candles, black diamonds A setting just for one Braided hair and monkeybone Your nightmares just begun Left handed vials candles at both ends Squeals in the night, she has wills to bend Witch puzzle, witch puzzle, Witch puzzle, witch puzzle, Take away all my sin Letting the devil in She works at night in a room with no floors Stealing moonlight unlatching the doors Under her spell actions not our own Dancing with our bodies the colors are all sewn Cackle in candlelight inventing her own skits Jig-saw all the pieces she cuts us to fit Witch puzzle, witch puzzle, Witch puzzle, witch puzzle, Marrow of my bone Everything I own Grandma taught me keep the devil at bay Nobody told me to keep the witch away Haunted valley skeleton key Lookout mountain beckoning me Sleep in the light careful what you sew Blanket blessed with light warmed over soul Witch puzzle, witch puzzle Witch puzzle, witch puzzle, which way to turn, when will I burn?

So Lonely 03:22
"So Lonely" Written by Eldon McGraw. Lyrics and music by Eldon McGraw. I'm thinkin’ about you Drivin’ in my car Could this thing work out? Or have we gone too far? I’m thinkin about you Down this dark road Could this be our path? How will it be told? Hey I’m so lonely and I think your lonely too Hey I’m so lonely, but I don’t know what to do Hey I’m so lonely and I think your lonely too Hey I’m so lonely, but I don’t know what to do Your eyes were so sad When we met last night I wiped away your tears And I hope it’s alright I’m thinkin about you Down this dark road Could this be our path? Will the story be told? Hey I’m so lonely and I think your lonely too Hey I’m so lonely, but I don’t know what to do Hey I’m so lonely and I think your lonely too Hey I’m so lonely, but I don’t know what to do I’m thinkin’ tonight It could be so good And I’m thinkin’ tonight If I should or would I’m thinkin’ tonight If I should stay away? And I’m thinkin’ tonight What’s the price I pay for loving you? For loving you Hey I’m so lonely and I think your lonely too Hey I’m so lonely, but I don’t know what to do Hey I’m so lonely and I think your lonely too Hey I’m so lonely, but I don’t know what to do Hey you’re so lonely Hey you’re so lonely

“Gonna Rise Up” Written by Mike Anderson and Eldon McGraw. Lyrics by Mike Anderson and Eldon McGraw. Music by Eldon McGraw. We’re gonna rise up We won’t take it no more They can show us their power And we’ll show them the door We don’t care if they’re strong We don’t care if they’re tough Their time is now over Enough is enough Gonna rise up Gonna rise up Gonna rise up Gonna rise up They can laugh all they want We’ll get them in the end They raided our country And that’s a deadly sin Yeah we all know their game It’s take as much as you can But they’re showing their cards And they got no hand How long do they think they can keep us powerless and poor? Pretty soon they’re gonna find out that the lion sleeps no more There are no kings And there are no slaves If you wanna be free Then you gotta be brave When you get tired Of being treated like a fool And you see it’s all wrong Then you know what to do We’re gonna rise up We’re gonna rise up We’re gonna rise up We’re gonna rise up

about

Fade To Black formed in 1990 during the burgeoning alternative rock scene that took over the United States in the 1990’s. The band was made up of five very creative individuals (Mike Anderson - vocals, Eldon McGraw - lead guitar, Jeff Behrendt - bass guitar, Randy Matthews - rhythm guitar, and Tommy Gomez - drums) who all were songwriters: as a result, the Fade To Black “sound” is very eclectic with roots in Punk, Classic Rock, and Alternative Rock.

The band released two indie albums in the early 90’s and broke up in late 1991. After an 18 year hiatus, all five original members of the band reformed in 2009 and immediately began working on their third studio album, “Black Is Back,” which was released on GTG Records in 2010. Seven songs from “Black Is Back” were played on college, satellite, and internet radio in seven different countries. In 2011, the band released their first live album, “Live in Lansing.”

Since reforming in 2009, two of the original members, Tommy Gomez and Randy Matthews, have left the band to pursue other professional commitments. The band added current drummer Mike Reed in 2011 and current rhythm guitar player Ian Walker in 2012.

In late 2011, Fade To Black began the process of recording their latest and fourth studio album, “G Street Panorama.” Over the course of the 2.5 years of recording their latest album, the band faced challenges that included changing drummers just into the recording process from Casey Chahine to Mike Reed, changing recording studios and starting the recording of the album over at a new studio, losing founding member Randy Matthews as he pursued other creative endeavors, changing record labels from GTG Records to Silver Maple Kill Records during the recording process, and adding new rhythm guitar player Ian Walker to the band. Yet, through all of these challenges, the band forged ahead with a zenith focus to complete the best album of their career. A half hour video documentary called “Gonna Rise Up,” which chronicles the making of “G Street Panorama” is available on YouTube.

“G Street Panorama” continues the eclectic songwriting that has been a staple of Fade To Black since their early days. The 11 songs on the album features punk, hard rock, pop, and ballads. Fade To Black also invited guest musicians to perform on the album, including Dave Gorbe on theremin, Jenny Spurbeck on cello, and Cat Harrell on backing vocals.
