Did you know aliens were here?
They came down on a night so clear
Saucer opened, a beam came down
Alien feet walking around
My fear rose – it shook my core
Then I saw them walk to the pub next door

The people dropped their drinks and stared
The aliens, they didn’t care
They said “We’ve traveled many light years
We’re thirsty, we want beer!”
Sat down, they ordered a round
Then with their three arms they began to pound

They looked so scary at first
But they just came down to quench a thirst
They were happy to drink and get along
Then some redneck came on strong
They were getting picked on by Big Jim
Til their shrink rays took care of him

The bar don’t take galactic cash
When the check came, they had to dash
They were drunk, blotto, and stoned
When they try to fly their saucer home
The sauce rose, the saucer fell
Then it crashed somewhere near Roswell

Fade To Black Lansing, Michigan

Fade To Black formed in January 1990. In the early '90's the band released two albums. They broke up in late 1991, but reformed in 2009. Since reforming they have released two albums and continue to play live and write new material.
